  • Dr. Milman provided expert deposition testimony in a medical malpractice/wrongful death case in Baltimore, MD in which morphine intoxication, Compazine and Tequin were implicated. The case was settled.  (4/15/08)
  • Dr. Milman was asked to assist in a personal injury case in Australia involving developmental and behavioral changes in a four-year old child resulting from lead exposure inside and outside the home.
  • Dr. Milman provided expert assistance for the Plaintiff in a personal injury case involving dermatological and respiratory effects allegedly caused by immersion in a hot tub at a spa in a major resort hotel in CO.
  • Dr. Milman was retained as the toxicology and cancer expert for the FEMA Trailer Formaldehyde Litigation resulting from the aftermath of hurricane Katrina.
    Dr. Milman provided expert deposition testimony for the Plaintiff in a case that alleged that a pharmacist erroneously dispensed phenobarbital instead of Xanax.  (2/25/08)
  • Dr. Milman provided expert testimony for the Defense in the second jury trial in Houston, TX involving a doctor who treated her patients with an unapproved "Botox-like" product. (11/7/07). The first trial ended in a mistrial with one lone juror holding out for acquittal. (9/17/07)
  • Dr. Milman provided expert video testimony for trial in a medical malpractice case involving alleged irrigation of a puncture wound with Hibiclens.  (3/19/08)
  • In her "Final Decision and Order" in a case that alleged that death was caused by methadone, alprazolam and bupropion prescribed for a Worker's Compensation-related injury, the Honorable Judge of the Philadelphia District Office found that "Dr. Milman is a highly qualified and experienced toxicologist.  He has a special expertise in this area, as opposed to the Claimant's expert.  His opinion that the Decedent's death was caused by his chronic use of Cocaine is accepted as fact."
  • A manuscript by Dr. Milman entitled "Possible contribution of indomethacin to the carcinogenicity of non-genotoxic bladder carcinogens that cause bladder calculi" was published in the journal Drug and Chemical Toxicology 30:161-166 (2007).
  • Dr. Milman provided expert testimony for the Plaintiff at a deposition in Rockville, MD in a medical malpractice/wrongful death case involving co-prescribing of a thiazide diuretic and lithium. (6/1/07)
  • Dr. Milman and the "Milman et al." Team raised over $51,000 in  support of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) research at the April 14, 2007 "MS Walk".  The Team has raised over $167,000 since 2001 and the most money of over 500 Teams in the Washington DC Metropolitan area at the 2007 MS Walk.
  • Dr. Milman provided expert testimony for the Defense in a jury trial in Hagerstown, MD in a case involving alleged health effects from an accidental release into the home of heating oil #2 ("light" fuel oil) that presumably contained benzene as an impurity.  (2/28/07)
  • A case against a major drug store chain in Washington DC involving issues of pharmacy standards of care in which Dr. Milman was an expert for the Plaintiff was abruptly settled on the morning of the trial. (2/17/07)
  • Dr. Milman provided expert assistance for the Defense in a case in which an employee was fired after testing positive for cocaine in a random drug test. (11/6/06)
  • An alleged food poisoning case in Mississippi, in which Dr. Milman provided expert assistance for the Plaintiff, was settled.  (8/14/06) 
  • Dr. Milman provided expert assistance for the Plaintiff in a case in which exposure to the termiticide chlorpyrifos, the active ingredient of Dursban TC, allegedly caused various neurological, dermatological and respiratory symptoms.  The case was settled.  (5/29/06)
  • Dr. Milman provided deposition testimony for the Plaintiff in a case that alleged that use of progesterone and/or progesterone-containing contraceptive pills accelerated the growth of a brain tumor (e.g., meningioma).  The case was settled.  (3/31/06)
